The First Annual National Black Women's Town Hall Meeting was a huge success! I was pleased to see the level of commitment and enthusiasm that women from around the country had about discussing and creating solutions for our issues.

Historically, we focus on, encourage, and support everyone except ourselves and one another. It was time we came together to strategize for our well-being.

I want to thank our distinguished panelists, sponsors, volunteers, and NCNW staff.

But don't think we're done yet. Look for continued events and intiatives in the coming weeks because designing our nation with grace and greatness is the best gift we can give to our children and their future.
